This season has come to an end and we are preparing for another great season which will be here in no time. All those who hunted with us this year can go ahead and book for next year. On March 1, we will open up booking to everyone. Get your days while you can. We are already half-booked for the last season.
We have had an awesome opening to the season. Many thanks to the guys who have booked with us! First day of the season and a wood duck was shot! That is definitely a rare find, especially when you are out on a sea duck hunt. A hybrid duck was also shot as well on a different hunt. We have been killing out limit on almost every hunt!
While the late season is booked solid, there is still openings for Special Sea Duck Season! December 3rd-14th is available, $175 per person. If you book more than 3 people, cost is $125 per person. Check out our trip reports to see what we have been shooting!
If you thought Hurricane Florence might have taken us out, you were only partially right. We had a few blinds missing, but by the grace of God they are back up and better than ever. Plenty of room to shoot and plenty of room to eat that good ol’ breakfast in the blind!
The first duck season of the 2018-2019 duck season starts on Nov. 10 and runs through Dec. 1, starting back again on Dec. 15. Special Sea Duck hunts will start on Nov. 19 and both general and special sea duck hunts will end Jan. 26. We have several weekday hunts available in November for both general and sea duck hunts. We also have sea duck hunts available the first half of December.
Don’t miss out on what is expected to be a frigid winter, which means lots of ducks! Contact us for your next duck hunting adventure on the beautiful Neuse River.
“A wild duck is not to be valued in terms of food along with chickens and pork chops. It means day breaking over the marshes and the whistle of fast wings in the gray light. Who can put a price on the sight of black ducks climbing over the willows or pintails setting their wings to decoy?”
– David M. Newell, The Fishing and Hunting Answer Book, 1948
